Wednesday, February 1 - NO SCHOOL for students
ATTENTION PARENTS: We will host a free Conscious Discipline Parent Workshop on February 1 from 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM in the JGP Cafeteria. Childcare will be provided and every parent will receive a certificate of attendance. Registration and lunch will be from 12:30-1:00 PM. Then, our workshop will begin at 1:00 PM with national consultant, Deborah Tapp. Learn how to create a "safe place" for your child or grandchild when he/she is hurt or angry. Discover new "I Love You Rituals"that send a message of unconditional love and prime your child's brain for learning. Conscious Discipline helps busy families stay close.

Students will arrive at home in the afternoon with a red JETS folder. Please review the JETS folder in the evening with your child. This folder contains important school news and homework assignments. Please use the following resources to help stay in touch with your child's academic progress:
Parent Portal allows our parents to view grades and assignments as well as daily attendance-all you need is an email address. You can also email your child's teacher through the Portal. Sign up for Parent Portal today by visiting the office or calling 366-1660!
A bilingual Parent Advisor is on staff to assist you with any concerns or questions you may have. She is available to assist parents with immunizations, absences and tardies, new student registration, Parent Portal sign up, or lunch forms.
