We welcome school families to become actively involved in the academic lives of our children. What can you do? Most importantly, ensure that your child attends school each day. Jet students arrive home each afternoon with a red JETS folder. Review the JETS folder in the evening with your child! This folder contains important school news and homework assignments. You may also take advantage of the following resources to help stay in touch with your child's academic progress:

Parent Portal allows our parents to view grades and assignments as well as daily attendance-all you need is an email address. You can also email your child's teacher through the Portal. Sign up for Parent Portal today by visiting the office or calling 366-1660!
A bilingual Parent Advisor is on staff to assist you with any concerns or questions you may have. She is available to assist parents with immunizations, absences and tardies, new student registration, Parent Portal sign up, or lunch forms.

We provide an abundance of support for our students: daily math and reading interventions, an Early Intervention Social Worker, a 21st Century Aftershool Enrichment Program, library visits focused on Accelerated Reader, music classes, and daily visits to Fast ForWord Reading Labs for Grades 2-5!
